Usually the restauraunts will have something fresh, just caught that morning. Go to Restauraunte Delfines with Juana at the beach, Juana is probably the best cook. She can cook in a mediteranean way that is very delicious. A friendly family atmosphere welcomes you to a table with a great view of the ocean.

Fish On Fishing Tours
Go out safely with a guide who is the best in the business. Pay us online, and we will arrrange the guide and tour date. This ensures that you get a guaranteed trip with good service. We pay the guides after the tour to make sure everything goes smooth

Mangrove Tours
Take a small motor boat and sometimes just use ores as you meander through the maze of the mangrove. This amazing ecosystem will stun and amaze you. I recommend going with Pablo. He is my neighbor on the side of the fence from Chacaua Cabana, just on the other side of the fence. He or his wife will be happy to help you.

BIOILLUINESCENSE
Experience a strange phenomenon where a blue oara envelopes you as you swim or even put your hand in the water. This is best seen at night when the moon is not in the night sky.

Techinda Farming
Definitely a one of a kind experience. You have to kind of float in the lagoon while you are tethered to the boat. You get to huge patches of small mussels or techinda as they call it. It is a very unique experience, so expect to get muddy and wet. You might want to bring a towel and dry shirt and sunscreen. Ask to cook them on the side of the lagoon with every other techinda harveter. The food is a delicacy that is very unique

Miles in, Tour of Ancient Indian Village and Coffee Mountainside
See things that only a few foreignters have seen. Hieroglyphics, and mysterious cougar paw prints in a rock on a ridgetop. See where the Virgin Mary miraculously appeared next to a high mountain creek. Hike through family village owned mountainsides and hills and dales through their coffee plantations and gardens. You will see where they process the coffee bean from start to finish and how they do it in the middle of the jungle, miles in. Extremely rare experience, well worth the journey

Crocodile Reserve
See a bunch of Crocodiles in captivity. I don’t really see the point. I think it is good for tourism, but I would rather see them just let them go into nature, where they belong. But you can go if you want to see some big crocs.

Turtle Reserve Tour
If you time it right, you can see the baby turtles running to the ocean in hopes of becoming a big turtle someday. If you take a fishing tour, you will probably see a few big turtles swimming out in the sea.

Surfing Lessons
You can get some good surfing in while you are there whether you are a beginner or pro. I would recommend that either way, you go out withh Esau, or Shaga Surf as the surf community calls him. He will give you lessons and show you where to get in when the surf is big.
